Lots of options for breakfast in the terrace. Accommodating, consistently courteous personnel with attentive service and non intrusive service.

Brilliant staff, particularly good views over the bay, everything is brand-new. The rooms are incredible and individual, with convenient decoration. Plus, the location is cosy, minutes from Babbacombe. The restaurant is great with a great choice of wine and cocktails. Would be happy to recommend the place, I didn't feel like leaving.

We had a fantastic time staying in the Beach Hut with fine sea views, and the cozy electric fireplace made our evenings perfect. The spa was soothing with a variety of treatments and the beach access was a lovely bonus. A minor hiccup was that there weren't many towels in the spa, but we didn't let that ruin our experience-definitely try the seafood if you visit! 🌊

The Cary Arms provided an extraordinarily comfortable stay with good amenities, particularly appreciating the relaxing atmosphere of the spa, which features a gorgeous hydrotherapy pool. Need clearer information on parking access.

The view from my room was amazing. I enjoyed the food at dinner, and the service was good. I appreciated the friendly interaction with the staff . I was actually surprised by the diverse options on the menu. The atmosphere was quite relaxing.
I found the shower situation disappointing as my room only had a bath, hard to shower without making a mess. The car park was difficult to access, and climbing the hill to get back was a challenge. It would be helpful to have clearer information about parking in advance.

The views from our suite were fine, and it reminded me of a piece of Torquay's history. Our family enjoyed the spacious room, and the friendly staff went out of their way to accommodate our non-service dog .
My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy on-site. A kids' club or play area would make it even more family-friendly.

Fine Views and Comfortable Stay
Enjoyed the stylish Beach Hut with amazing ocean views. The underfloor heating kept us cozy during stormy weather. The staff were great, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere. Be aware that the road leading down can be steep-consider taking your time! A lovely experience.

Fine Views but Mixed Experiences
I loved the amazing sea views from my King Room, especially from the balcony. The accessibility to the hotel was challenging, with a narrow, steep road. Dinner featured locally-sourced ingredients but lacked excitement. Tip, Chasing staff for drinks could improve dining experience.

Great food and service, but the breakfast fruit was disappointing. Nice gin in the room!

The fine views from the sea-view room created a captivating backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The attentive staff made a significant difference, ensuring all needs were met with genuine warmth. The choice of breakfast fruit felt inconsistent with the upscale setting, leaning towards tinned rather than fresh options. The bathroom amenities, while plentiful, lacked the freshness that would have elevated the luxury experience.
